Applied public economics and policy focuses on the processes by which various types of policies and regulations are created, as well as the broader economic, political and social factors.

In the context of the continuous effort to provide high-level educational and research work, aligned with the contemporary challenges in the field of Public Finance, the Coordinating Committee of the Master's Degree Program "Applied Public Finance and Policy" decided to establish an External Advisory Committee coordinated by the Director of the Master's Degree Program and comprising prominent personalities with continuous contribution and long experience in the formulation of Public Policy.
The mission of the External Advisory Committee is to provide/exchange
opinions/advice to the Program Director and the Coordinating
Committee for the continuous improvement of both the educational work provided by the P.M.S.
and the teaching methods. Areas such as
the structure of studies, the courses offered and the learning outcomes
in relation to current developments in Public Economics and Policy
are under the continuous supervision of the Advisory Committee.
The aim is to operate a Program that complies with international quality standards, responding, without lag, to changing national
and international requirements. The ultimate goal is the declared ambition of the Program to contribute decisively to the creation of specialized scientists, capable of meeting needs in matters of effective public sector administration.
The External Advisory Committee is composed of the Program Director in the role of coordinator and four external members who come from the scientific, professional and social fields.
